What is air purification?
Air treatment products remove pollutants from the room air. This reduces air pollutants in the room such as odors, smoke, dust, and animal hair to continuously improve the air quality.
It is well known that air purifiers are beneficial for allergy sufferers and asthmatics, and are also effective in reducing secondhand smoke, but their advances go well beyond these benefits. The effectiveness of HEPA filters shows that many air purifiers can trap and even kill viruses and bacteria in indoor air, making them a useful tool in the fight for health and safety against COVID-19.
Why should you buy an air purifier?
Studies on air quality have shown that the indoor air with certain pollutants can be up to five times as high as the outdoor air. An effective cleaner by minimizing pollutants:
- Reduces Odors
- Alleviates Allergies
- Eliminates Bacteria in the Air
- Prevents Mold and Mildew
Reduces Diseases
Air treatment products are good for main areas in salons, restaurants, gyms, doctor's offices, and more. but also for individual areas in larger facilities such as receptions, corridors, warehouses, bathrooms, and kitchens.
The versatility of these devices makes them suitable for a wide variety of workplaces. Of course, air purifiers are popular in office environments, but they can be useful in many more environments. Just think of a room in your workplace that is very busy but not very fresh air; an air purifier can provide clean air to anyone who uses these common areas.
How does air purification work?
The Air Treatment Products trap particles such as dust and pollen to remove them from the air. Most designs consist of one or more filters (usually made of replaceable paper, fiber, or mesh) and a fan to draw in and circulate the air. It moves through the filter that traps the pollutants and then the clean air is expelled.
HEPA filters can trap and remove tiny particles, such as small aerosol particles when coughing or sneezing, that would otherwise remain in the air for hours.
While these designs are effective and beneficial, the workplace must view air purifiers as an "additive" rather than a remedy. Don't see them as a substitute for other important hygiene practices like handwashing and distancing.
