A vibration sensor is a device that detects the magnitude and frequency of vibration in a system, machine, or piece of machinery. These metrics can be used to spot asset imbalances or other problems, as well as predict future failures.
What are vibration sensors and how do they work?
A vibration sensor connects to an asset directly or monitors
it wirelessly. Depending on the sort of sensor used, it will detect vibrations

of data from the device over time:
Frequency
The frequency, or how often the vibration happens, is the

Intensity
The intensity of the vibration when it occurs is the second
piece of information you'll receive. The higher the intensity measurements, the
more vibration you experience from a piece of equipment.

monitoring method since it is more advanced than portable condition monitoring
and gives plant operators real-time machine data. This monitoring method is
